Florida Atlantic University football team did not lose this past weekend as they were on a bye week. This brings into question is it time to make the move to Stephen Curtis as the starting QB. With David Kooi and Graham Wilbert have not gotten any better as the season has progressed. The offense is in the bottom ten of most offensive categories.
With this being Homecoming week for FAU this could be potentially the last good crowd of the year against Sun Belt Leaders Arkansas State. This could be a welcoming environment to give Curtis his first career start.
Curtis was the prize of the recruitment class of 2010 a three star recruit coming out of Sumter, South Carolina. Curtis adds a dimension to the offense that the other two quarterbacks do not offer. Curtis was a duel threat QB in High School and strings that potential in college.
If anything this could give a shot of life that this offense desperately needs. The offense has been stagnant every game this season. Curtis may not be able to run the table, but he brings potential to an offense that has not gotten any better throughout this season.
