Schnellenberger in the 4th quarter once again sat on the ball in the 4th quarter in a somewhat manageable score. Similar to last year against Michigan State Florida Atlantic University sat on the ball late in the 4th quarter against Auburn. Granted the game may have been out of reach, but on the final 2 drives of the game in a two score game FAU brought in back up QB David Kooi and ran out the clock.
This was overshadowed by a mostly positive performace by FAU, but once again Schnellenberger quit on the game in the 4th quarter. This is one of the reasons FAU should be happy this is his last year on the sidelines at FAU. In the future FAU should demand to play the game till the end and not give up in the 4th quarter.
